Tohata Architects & Engineers is a general construction and design office that Kenzo Tohata established in 1932. Our social mission is to become useful to our clients in the design and supervision of architecture, earthquake resistant renovation and modification of uses, urban development and re-development, the use of real estate, providing advice on receiving orders and implementing projects such as PFI and CM, and LCC (short-, mid-, and long-term repair plans). We are operating throughout Japan and Asia.
Using the technologies that we have accumulated over 82 years and the trust of our clients, we offer the following with proper construction schedules and costs: low-carbon and energy efficient architecture which contribute to the global environment and prevent global climate change; architecture that is gentle for the era of the declining birthrate and aging society; smart architecture that is compatible with advanced information technology; and resilient and earthquake-proof architecture that can withstand natural disasters and protect lives and business operations.
We are checking and improving quality by conducting DR (design review) at proper timing based on the ISO9000 series. We are also promoting the use of BIM. We create architecture with our clients. We explore solutions with expectations for future development by thoroughly communicating with our clients. We are committed to fulfilling our responsibility to provide sufficient explanations including design processes to become useful to our clients and society at large.
